RTA (Red Trouser Alert!)

Most of us try to stick with our New Year's resolutions at least through January. I however, vow to stick with my resolution the entire year until I have achieved my Blondon goal. Before you roll your eyes I'd like to point out that my resolution is not to find a cure for AIDS, start my own TV talk show, or write my first novel with Chelsea Handler; my resolution is to get one of my red trouser pictures featured on a now favorite blog of mine, Look At My F***ing Red Trousers. A pretty genius blog really. Unlike other fashion blogs that have us eyeballing our closet suspiciously hoping that we can pull off a stylish ensemble as seen on Wear It Both Ways, LAMFRT makes readers think twice about walking the streets of London in a pair of red cords without being uploaded onto the blogosphere and labelled as a: toff, notable wearer, hipster or a lunatic. LAMFRT is quite picky choosing pictures to be featured on the blog.. and so far none of mine have made the grade...so before these RTAs (red trouser alert shots) are forever lost, submitted but sadly denied posting, I'd like to share them with you.
Baby got back - Hammer time!
A dignified traveler?
Murse - check; red trousers - check!
It's never too early to start wearing them
Very likely to be upgraded when wearing red trousers
Embracing a chilly winter afternoon with friends and red trousers
A leisurely RT stroll down the King's Road
When the curtains match the drapes.. and the counter!
Red trousers: paired with a salmon hue cashmere and a poinsettia
Just to be a bit controversial, Mathilde cleverly found this bumble bee.. bzzz
The London red trouser trend is apparently open to all ages and is clearly in full swing. Now that I frequent LAMFRT on a regular basis, I have been seeing more red trousers in London than I have ever seen in Cape Cod, which says a lot. A special thanks to Hannah and Mathilde for their amazing RTA shots - watch this space as I am determined to make my documented RTA resolution a reality!

LAMFRT is INSANE not to have accepted any of these gems into the mix! particularly the chap in the RT and matching jacket... resembling more of a used tampon than a man, actually.
